Senior Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design and create high-quality, scalable frontend features utilizing modern frameworks such as React and TypeScript.

• Develop and maintain reusable UI components, shared libraries, and design patterns that enhance consistency and boost developer productivity.

• Collaborate extensively with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to transform requirements into intuitive and high-performing user interfaces.

• Contribute to the frontend architecture by making informed decisions regarding state management, API integration, performance optimization, and code organization.

• Enhance application performance and reliability by pinpointing bottlenecks, optimizing rendering, and ensuring responsive, accessible user experiences.

• Review code and deliver technical feedback that elevates quality standards and fosters team-wide knowledge sharing.

• Promote best practices in testing, documentation, and CI/CD workflows to maintain a scalable and manageable codebase.

• Actively engage in planning and estimation, providing precise technical insights and identifying potential risks early on.

• Advocate for user experience, ensuring that UI decisions align with customer requirements and usability standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in modern frontend development (React, Vue, Angular, or similar), with at least 2 years specifically in React.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and browser APIs.

• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, databases, and networking essentials.

• Must possess React experience, including component design patterns, state management frameworks, component libraries, React lifecycle and hooks, and UI performance tuning.

• Familiarity with build systems (Webpack, Vite, Turborepo), testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress), and CI/CD workflows.

• In-depth knowledge of UX principles, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design practices.

• Extensive experience with authentication and authorization flows (OAuth, JWT, SSO).

• Capability to design modular and scalable frontend architectures.
