Lead Developer – React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Define and execute the complete architecture utilizing AEM Headless (Content Fragments, GraphQL APIs) alongside React/Next.js frontends.

• Design strategies for Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), and edge rendering to enhance SEO and performance.

• Create content models and governance frameworks that facilitate omnichannel content reuse.

• Develop and refine React components, ensuring they are reusable, maintainable, and performant.

• Architect and sustain a scalable structure for React applications, adhering to best practices for long-term viability.

• Construct and package Node.js libraries for reuse across various projects.

• Write clean, efficient, and scalable TypeScript code, ensuring robust type safety and maintainability.

• Create UI components using Material UI, ensuring adherence to design standards.

• Efficiently integrate and consume RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints.

• Implement and manage front-end testing using frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library.

• Optimize Webpack configurations for quicker builds, improved bundling, and enhanced performance.

• Ensure compliance with best practices for performance optimization, accessibility, and security.

• Collaborate closely with backend teams to integrate APIs and refine data fetching methods.

• Diagnose and resolve intricate issues across the front-end stack, including state management and caching techniques.

• Stay informed about the latest advancements in React, TypeScript, and front-end development to deliver top-tier solutions.

• Engage in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and actively participate in technical discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in front-end development, with a minimum of 8 years of practical experience in React.

• Proficient in TypeScript, emphasizing type safety and industry best practices.

• Extensive experience with Material UI for developing accessible and consistent user interfaces.

• Strong knowledge of Node.js and experience in packaging Node.js libraries.

• Practical experience with front-end testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library).

• In-depth understanding of Webpack, including performance enhancements, tree shaking, and bundle splitting.

• Familiarity with state management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, or Recoil.

• Experience in performance tuning, lazy loading, and optimizing Lighthouse scores.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for front-end deployments.

• Comprehensive knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL, with experience in efficient data fetching strategies.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capability to debug complex front-end challenges.

• Strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with designers, backend developers, and stakeholders.
