Senior Frontend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, development, and execution of scalable, modular, and reusable web UI components as well as micro frontends.

• Deliver technical leadership and engage in hands-on development using React, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and Web Components.

• Promote front-end development best practices to enhance code quality, performance, and maintainability.

• Spearhead performance optimization to achieve fast, responsive, and accessible web applications.

• Collaborate with backend developers, UX/UI designers, product owners, and business stakeholders.

• Utilize Azure services for deployment, monitoring, scalability, and operational support.

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions.

• Ensure adherence to code quality and security standards through SonarQube and Mend.

• Establish and enforce development standards, coding guidelines, and architectural best practices.

• Assist in requirement analysis, solution design, estimation, and technical planning.

• Manage interactions with stakeholders and clients, providing technical guidance that aligns with business objectives.

• Mentor and coach developers, promoting technical growth and ongoing improvement.

• Assess emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions.

• Design initiatives for technical training and knowledge sharing.

• Ensure security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability throughout the application lifecycle.

• Direct UI developers and coordinate sprint activities, deliverables, and technical reviews.

• Guide technical decision-making and assist with complex implementation challenges.

• Facilitate collaboration among multiple teams.

• Serve as the primary technical contact for UI-related discussions with clients and stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Location: EST TimeZone (Mexico or Argentina)

• Proficient in English

• Strong expertise in React, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and Web Components

• Experience with micro frontend architecture

• Knowledge of Redux and React Query

• Familiarity with React Router

• Experience with Azure services

• Proven experience in designing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions

• Familiarity with SonarQube and Mend

• Capability to lead UI developers and coordinate sprint activities, deliverables, and technical reviews

• Proficient in providing technical guidance on complex implementation challenges

• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams while maintaining consistent delivery standards

• Capability to serve as the primary technical contact for UI-related discussions with clients and stakeholders
