Senior Front-end Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the creation and upkeep of web applications.

• Collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, project managers, and product managers.

• Develop and maintain web pages that users interact with, emphasizing user engagement.

• Produce code that is easily testable, efficient, and reusable.

• Ensure system functionality by identifying and resolving issues, while establishing clear processes.

• Review designs created by others for usability and effectiveness.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies for the web team.

• Perform specific coding tasks and conduct code reviews for peers.

• Assist in interviewing potential new team members and provide mentorship to junior engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in web development, with at least 3 years focusing on Angular development.

• Practical experience with web development principles and methodologies.

• In-depth, hands-on knowledge of JavaScript.

• Proficient in HTML and CSS, including pre-processors like Less and Sass.

• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to juggle multiple projects at once.

• Familiarity with additional web development tools and frameworks, such as React or AngularJs, is advantageous.
