Senior Front End Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Custom Component Development: Design and maintain a comprehensive internal component library that encompasses over 95% of the UI surface. Components are developed from the ground up without utilizing third-party libraries (e.g., no MUI, Chakra, Ant Design, etc.), ensuring clean APIs and thorough documentation. Collaborate closely with designers to produce functional implementations that align with brand standards.

• Marketing Funnel Engineering: Design and create multi-step marketing funnels, which include landing pages, lead capture flows, upsell sequences, and thank-you pages. Implement dynamic content rendering, conditional logic, and form validation. Integrate with marketing platforms through REST APIs and manage the funnel state across steps using suitable storage strategies.

• Payment Integrations: Seamlessly integrate payment gateways (such as Stripe, PayPal, or similar) into funnel flows, ensuring secure form handling, webhook processing, and effective error recovery.

• Performance Optimization: Take ownership of Core Web Vitals across all funnel pages, aiming for Lighthouse scores of 95 or higher. Employ techniques like code splitting, lazy loading, tree shaking, and critical CSS. Utilize React DevTools Profiler and Chrome Performance panel to identify and address redundant re-renders through memo, useMemo, useCallback, and strategic component splitting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in React development.

• Demonstrated success in building over 90% of custom UI without relying on component libraries.

• Knowledge of the Critical Rendering Path.

• In-depth understanding of React reconciliation, the virtual DOM, and rendering behaviors.

• Experience with state management solutions (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Jotai) and the ability to discern when to employ global versus local state.

• Strong grasp of Local Storage, Session Storage, and cookies, including their security implications and suitable use cases within funnel flows.

• Practical experience with React DevTools Profiler and methods to prevent unnecessary re-renders.

• Proven experience in integrating payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, or similar) in a production environment.

• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and modern TypeScript.

• Nice to have: Experience with Next.js and server-side rendering.

• Familiarity with feature flagging tools.

• Knowledge of A/B testing and analytics event tracking.
