Senior Front end Developer – React, TS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design and implement scalable frontend architecture utilized across various applications.

• Create reusable platform functionalities for authentication, networking, routing, state management, and error handling.

• Enhance application performance through profiling, code splitting, lazy loading, bundle optimization, and rendering improvements.

• Design resilient frontend systems that effectively manage authentication flows, session management, token refresh, offline behavior, retries, and request cancellation.

• Develop maintainable API communication layers, request interceptors, caching strategies, and error handling patterns.

• Enhance frontend observability through logging, monitoring, Real User Monitoring (RUM), and production diagnostics.

• Lead the testing strategy across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, while boosting overall application reliability.

• Advocate for accessibility, performance, scalability, and engineering best practices throughout the frontend ecosystem.

• Engage in architecture reviews, technical design discussions, and modernization initiatives.

• Mentor engineers through code reviews and provide architectural guidance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in Frontend Engineering, specifically in developing large-scale React applications.

• Proficient in React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.

• In-depth understanding of frontend architecture, component design, and application scalability.

• Strong experience in creating complex state management solutions using Redux Toolkit, TanStack Query, or comparable technologies.

• Experience in building robust authentication and authorization systems, including JWT, cookies, session management, token refresh, and secure client-side storage.

• Comprehensive understanding of API architecture, request lifecycle management, interceptors, retries, caching strategies, and resilient network communication.

• Proven experience in optimizing frontend performance through bundle analysis, code splitting, lazy loading, rendering optimization, and profiling.

• Practical experience in implementing thorough testing strategies using Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, or similar tools.

• Proficient in debugging production applications utilizing monitoring and observability platforms such as Datadog, Sentry, or equivalent, including Real User Monitoring (RUM).

• Strong knowledge of accessibility (WCAG), responsive design, and frontend best practices.

• Established ability to make architectural decisions based on technical tradeoffs rather than personal implementation preferences.

• Advanced English communication skills.
