Senior FP&A Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Financial Steering & Decision Support: You convert operational KPI trends into P&L, EBITDA, and cash effects, producing well-supported executive and board materials, complete with commentary.

• Planning, Forecasting & Modeling: You lead the budget, forecast, and rolling-forecast processes, while developing driver-based financial models and integrated cash and working-capital plans.

• Cost & Profitability Transparency: You establish clarity regarding OPEX, payment costs, regional contribution-margin reporting, and profitability analyses.

• FP&A Systems, Automation & AI: You enhance the integration of financials into Snowflake/Qlik, automate manual tasks, and create AI-supported analysis and commentary workflows.

• Financial Governance: You maintain consistent financial logic (segments, P&L structure, forecast logic) in collaboration with BI and Accounting.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in controlling or FP&A, preferably within a digital marketplace or e-commerce setting.

• Strong FP&A expertise: integrated planning, driver models, scenario analyses, and forecasting processes.

• Capability to translate intricate financial relationships into clear, actionable recommendations and communicate them effectively.

• Familiarity with FP&A tools (Pigment, Board or similar), BI tools (Qlik, Tableau or similar), and Lucanet (preferred).

• Self-driven, organized working style with a passion for actively enhancing processes and structures.

• Proficient in both German and English.
