This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating closely with functional leaders.

• Oversee bottoms-up planning across various departments (engineering, BD, operations, and G&A) while providing managers with consistent feedback.

• Convert strategic objectives into financial targets and operational plans.

• Create and uphold dynamic, driver-based models in Excel/Sheets and Causal.

• Assist in scenario modeling, capital planning, and long-term financial strategy.

• Develop dashboards and monthly reporting packages for leadership and investors.

• Evaluate budget versus actuals, key trends, and financial risks/opportunities.

• Offer advice and support for daily processes in sales, revenue, and HR operations to ensure reliable financial data across the organization.

• Help maintain compliance with fundamental government finance regulations (FAR/DCAA expectations).

• 5-7+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or business operations.

• Background in both larger organizations (500+ employees) and dynamic startups or growth-stage companies.

• Demonstrated success in managing budgeting processes and producing strategic financial models.

• Strong modeling and forecasting abilities (Excel/Sheets), with experience in cloud-based tools, particularly Causal.

• Exceptional attention to detail, business acumen, and the capacity to transform data into actionable insights.

• Capability to craft clear, concise, and persuasive narratives from financial data.

• Interest in (or experience with) government contracting, national security, or dual-use technology.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, eager to build from the ground up, thrive independently, and motivated to progress into a leadership position.
