Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and implement the monthly financial closing processes.

• Ensure that all journal entries, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations are performed accurately and within set deadlines.

• Prepare the monthly financial reporting package for the executive team.

• Supervise daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, billing, and payroll processing.

• Track daily cash balances, create cash flow forecasts, and enhance working capital management.

• Maintain a constant state of audit readiness by ensuring meticulous documentation and well-organized financial records.

• Act as the main point of contact for external auditors during semi-annual audits.

• Regularly assess finance department workflows, identifying and executing process enhancements and automations to boost efficiency.

• Lead, mentor, and assess the performance of the finance team, ensuring high-quality work and compliance with accounting standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• 3-5+ years of progressive experience in accounting.

• Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end closing procedures.

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, billing, and payroll functions.

• Previous experience in supporting or leading external audits.

• Proficient with accounting/ERP systems and advanced Excel capabilities.

• Excellent organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail and documentation.
