• Design and implement leasing strategies that align with the infrastructure growth plan.
• Oversee the complete equipment leasing program and strategy, which encompasses the decision-making framework for purchasing versus leasing, along with the selection of third-party capital partners.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for financing partners, monitor financing terms across lenders, assist in negotiations for new leases and refinancing, evaluate financing options, and propose the most cost-effective structure.
• Handle all aspects of the lease portfolio, including the maintenance of a centralized register, tracking essential financial terms, and overseeing variances and refinancing requirements.
• Facilitate and coordinate equipment needs/orders among teams and the relevant capital partner throughout the procurement process.
• Oversee the operational implementation of new leases, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and validating lease contracts against vendor invoices.
• Provide support for financial forecasting by generating monthly/quarterly lease schedules and forward-looking cash flow projections.
• Develop and sustain processes for tracking and creating workflows for new lease intake, contract approvals, payment tracking, and transition to accounting teams.
• Act as the main liaison for all internal and external program stakeholders.
• A bachelor's degree in a business, technical, or analytical discipline (e.g., Business Administration or Economics).
• Experience in financial modeling and forecasting, with an understanding of accounting and finance principles such as cash flow management.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and leasing data center equipment, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of the financial and operational processes involved.
• Excellent organizational, negotiation, and analytical abilities to manage a substantial portfolio of leases, monitor detailed financial terms, and assist in lender negotiations.
• Strong communication skills with the capability to effectively engage with capital partners, senior leadership, and other program stakeholders.
