This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Lead the vision and implementation of the corporate finance strategy encompassing budgeting/forecasting, mergers and acquisitions, valuations, capital planning, and market activities.
• Supervise the organization’s long-term financial models, ensuring they are accurate, scalable, and aligned with company objectives.
• Spearhead the creation and ongoing refinement of valuation models, utilizing discounted cash flow and multiple-based approaches.
• Direct the formulation and enhancement of the annual budget, along with the two forecasts produced by the company annually.
• Prepare and present quarterly investor presentations, ensuring the financial strategy is effectively communicated.
• Oversee capital market transactions, including recapitalizations, debt issuances, redemptions, and associated activities.
• Act as the primary finance integration lead during acquisitions, ensuring alignment of processes and financial strategies across various business units.
• Manage a team consisting of two lead financial analysts and the Strategic Finance Associate.
• Set and manage team objectives, priorities, and budgets; ensure they align with the overall finance and business strategy.
• Identify and escalate financial risks that could potentially impact long-term strategy or revenue.
• Suggest and implement policies, procedures, and governance frameworks to enhance financial decision-making.
• Oversee substantial departmental budgets while ensuring continuous improvement in financial systems and processes.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on strategic financial planning, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or FP&A, including at least 3 years in a leadership position, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced knowledge in corporate finance, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and financial modeling.
• Demonstrated ability to influence executive decision-making and shape the financial strategy of the organization.
• Outstanding leadership skills with experience in team management.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and influencing abilities.
• Strong financial and business acumen with the capability to navigate complex financial agreements and structures.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint); experience with enterprise financial systems and planning software (e.g., Workday/Adaptive Planning).
