Senior FP&A Analyst – Forecasting & Planning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Develop, implement, and continuously refine comprehensive forecasting models utilizing advanced analytical methods, historical data, business drivers, and established methodologies.

• Lead the creation of sophisticated analytical frameworks and distill KPI trends, risks, and opportunities into actionable insights and strategic guidance for senior management.

• Work collaboratively across departments to collect data and provide clear, concise reports.

• Present findings and insights to leadership.

• Maintain thorough documentation of financial models, assumptions, and methodologies.

• Identify and drive enhancements in processes through automation and optimized data workflows.

• Improve the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of forecasting and reporting functions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.

• 4–5 years of experience in corporate financial programs, reporting, analytics, and impact assessment.

• Advanced proficiency in data analysis and the development of statistical and financial data for reporting and business insights.

• Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities using Excel, Power BI, SQL, and/or Python/R.

• Experience in developing scalable forecasting solutions.

• Familiarity with financial systems and planning tools, including ERP systems and CPM platforms like OneStream or similar.

• Understanding of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and reporting standards.

• Knowledge of statutory and GAAP accounting practices.

• Exceptional executive communication abilities.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
