Senior FP&A Analyst – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee financial dashboards in Power BI and Excel to unify financial reporting and convey results, trends, risks, and opportunities to leadership.

• Present monthly financial outcomes to key business stakeholders while demonstrating an understanding of operational expenditures.

• Convert financial data into concise business narratives.

• Assist with month-end closing alongside the Accounting team, including segment-level financial reporting and variance analysis.

• Track actual performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying trends and variances.

• Spearhead the consolidation of the company’s annual budget.

• Collaborate across functions to grasp operational strategies and provide data-driven insights.

• Contribute to rolling forecasts and highlight forecast risks and opportunities.

• Oversee headcount forecasting and reconciliations, personnel expense forecasts, and headcount-related reporting.

• Enhance headcount modeling in Power BI and other systems.

• Automate and streamline monthly reporting and forecasting processes using Power BI, Excel, NetSuite, and AI-driven tools.

• Manage various data sources to maintain data integrity, consistency, quality, accuracy, and version control.

• Assist with ad-hoc financial modeling, analysis, and special projects aimed at fostering growth and operational improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

• 4–7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a similar role.

• Strong grasp of fundamental accounting principles and financial statements.

• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.

• Familiarity with NetSuite, Microsoft Copilot, and other financial reporting tools is an advantage.

• Capacity to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and handle workload simultaneously.

• Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Demonstrates curiosity, resourcefulness, flexibility, and a cooperative mindset.

• Self-motivated and action-oriented; maintains confidence under pressure and consistently meets deadlines.
