This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of and manage Sun World’s annual budgeting cycle, encompassing timelines, deliverables, and inputs from various departments.
• Act as a primary liaison for department heads during the budget submission and revision processes.
• Integrate departmental budgets into the corporate financial model and assist in executive reviews.
• Oversee the monthly budget versus actuals process and facilitate regular departmental performance and variance review meetings.
• Maintain ongoing tracking and monitoring of budget versus actuals across departments and cost centers.
• Generate monthly updates on capital expenditures, headcount, and other essential financial metrics.
• Assist in preparing month-end Board presentation materials, Excel schedules, investor deliverables, and on-demand analyses for Bridgepoint.
• Develop, manage, and enhance PowerBI dashboards and reports.
• Discover opportunities to optimize and automate ongoing reporting workflows.
• Contribute to the modernization of the FP&A reporting infrastructure.
• Collaborate with department leaders on operational and strategic finance inquiries.
• Participate in ad-hoc analyses, business cases, and scenario modeling.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Over 4 years of progressive FP&A experience in corporate FP&A, investment banking, or consulting.
• Proficient in advanced Excel and financial modeling techniques.
• Experience in constructing and maintaining multi-tab operating models.
• Working knowledge of PowerBI, including the ability to build, edit, and sustain dashboards and reports.
• Strong analytical abilities and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to convert financial data into concise, organized materials for leadership review.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Willingness to travel domestically as needed, up to 10% of the time.
• A self-starter with the discipline and communication skills necessary to excel in a fully remote environment.
• Preferred: experience in a PE-backed or sponsor-owned organization.
• Preferred: background in agriculture, agritech, food & beverage, or industries with operational complexities.
• Preferred: familiarity with PowerApps, Microsoft Dataverse, or other low-code tools.
• Preferred: experience in supporting month-end close processes and collaborating with Accounting.
• Preferred: previous experience working within a remote or distributed finance team.
