Senior FP&A Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain the financial models and forecasting framework that inform our planning and decision-making as we expand.

• Influence investment and growth strategies through analyses based on unit economics, cohort trends, and additional relevant metrics.

• Streamline manual reporting processes using AI and contemporary tools, transforming regular requests into self-service dashboards and autonomous systems.

• Collaborate across departments on strategic planning and resource allocation, converting complex data into straightforward narratives for leadership.

• Enhance forecast precision and drive profitability and efficiency improvements by gaining better insights into performance drivers.

• Move beyond analysis to execution, working cross-functionally to translate insights into tangible enhancements in the business's financial performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields; experience in a high-growth startup is advantageous.

• AI-savvy, with a proven history of leveraging AI to automate processes, expedite analysis, or develop tools.

• Strong modeling capabilities that enhance forecast precision, optimize reporting, and facilitate dynamic scenario planning.

• Proficient in tools such as Excel/Google Sheets, QuickBooks (or similar ERP systems), and AI tools like Claude Code; familiarity with SQL or Sigma is a plus.

• Adept at collaborating across various business functions to translate strategies into actionable steps.

• Comfortable working autonomously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating financial data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.

• Eager to develop scalable processes, enable self-serve reporting, and assist in strategic decision-making across the organization.
