Senior FP&A Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain financial models aimed at forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning.

• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports that include variance analysis and accompanying commentary.

• Examine financial statements, trends, and KPIs to deliver actionable insights to management.

• Assist in the formulation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts across various departments.

• Track actual performance against budgets and forecasts, recommending necessary corrective measures.

• Facilitate strategic planning through comprehensive financial analysis, scenario assessments, and financial simulations.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to collect financial data and aid in decision-making processes.

• Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and Board members.

• Spot opportunities to enhance financial processes and systems.

• Aid in the adoption and implementation of new financial tools and technologies.

• Provide analytical support for special projects and initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

• 4–6 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or a similar financial position.

• Robust understanding of accounting principles and corporate finance.

• Ability to articulate the interrelationships between the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.

• Proven experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting activities.

• Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving aptitude.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and data analytics.

• Familiarity with financial software or ERP systems is advantageous.

• Exceptional communication skills for conveying financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

• Keen attention to detail, with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.

• Willingness to learn new business models and navigate ambiguous data and shifting priorities.

• Prior experience in FP&A within HealthTech, Digital Health, or Pharmacy operations is preferred.

• Experience in startup or early-stage environments is preferred.

• Background in M&A modeling or corporate development is preferred.

• Experience in Private Equity or Investment Banking is a plus.
