This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Assess engagements by analyzing technical readiness, feasibility, customer ownership, potential adoption, product deficiencies, and repeatability.
β’ Oversee technical delivery from start to finish, including discovery, prototyping, production stabilization, and handoff.
β’ Convert business workflows into architectures that integrate Sinch messaging, voice, or email APIs with customer systems.
β’ Utilize coding agents and AI-enhanced development tools for discovery, implementation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
β’ Develop production-quality services, webhook handlers, adapters, data mappings, deployment automation, tests, and operational tools.
β’ Engineer solutions for capacity, scalability, availability, resilience, security, and safe failure modes.
β’ Create extensive unit, integration, contract, end-to-end, load, resilience, and failover tests.
β’ Instrument logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, alerts, and cross-system correlations.
β’ Collaborate with customer security, privacy, legal, and communications teams on compliance and architectural reviews.
β’ Educate customer engineers, document architecture and runbooks, establish ownership, and complete handoff processes.
β’ Engage with designated Voice, Messaging, and Email subject-matter experts during onboarding and when addressing complex issues.
β’ Supply Product and Engineering teams with reproducible field insights and reusable implementation strategies.
β’ Typically, 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering, enterprise integration, solution delivery, or technical consulting, with significant direct engagement with enterprise customers.
β’ Equivalent experience is valued more than a specific degree or title.
β’ Personally designed, built, deployed, operated, and supported API-driven production systems.
β’ Proficient in production software development using TypeScript/Node.js, Python, Java, or C#/.NET.
β’ Solid understanding of API, event-driven architecture, authentication, security, testing, code review, and maintainability practices.
β’ Experience employing coding agents or other AI development tools while independently verifying outcomes.
β’ Background in integrating software into enterprise technology stacks, encompassing APIs, webhooks, data stores, identity systems, cloud services, events, and operational procedures.
β’ Strong expertise in testing, scalability, and observability.
β’ Experience deploying services on at least one major cloud platform using Git, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, containers or serverless, secrets management, and regional design.
β’ Meaningful exposure to at least one communications domain such as programmable voice, messaging, or email.
β’ Ability to swiftly learn adjacent CPaaS products with subject matter expert support.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical, business, security, and executive stakeholders.
β’ Strong delivery judgment in ambiguous situations, including scoping MVPs, making trade-offs, managing risks, and stabilizing production.
β’ Willingness to travel approximately 10β15% to support planned customer workshops and transitions.
β’ This is not a standing customer support or on-call role.
