Senior Firmware Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create firmware architectures, develop innovative features, and construct performance-oriented, memory-efficient applications while ensuring high-quality modern C/C++ code.

• Diagnose intricate client issues, debug firmware using gathered data, pinpoint root causes, and propose effective solutions.

• Develop firmware solutions tailored to the hardware, power, and feature limitations of next-generation devices.

• Design and execute test routines to validate logical and firmware-related electrical functionalities of IoT devices.

• Produce and uphold documentation for algorithms, logic, and the codebase.

• Adhere to guidelines and best practices for version control, repository management, and firmware releases.

• Create next-generation firmware, enhance application logic, formulate algorithms, and support dependable IoT machine monitoring.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in embedded software development, with knowledge of RTOS such as freeRTOS, and low-level frameworks including CMSIS, ESPIDF, and STM HAL.

• Proficient in modern C/C++ programming skills.

• Strong knowledge of data structures and data theory.

• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts and methodologies.

• Expertise in embedded systems development.

• Familiarity with electronic concepts, topologies, and components.

• Capacity to read and interpret advanced technical documentation and data.

• Bonus: Experience with other low-level programming languages.

• Bonus: Strong understanding of Digital Signal Processing concepts and their applications.

• Bonus: Knowledge of Network Theory and wireless protocols (WiFi, Bluetooth, Cellular, etc.).

• Bonus: Experience with scripting languages such as Python.

• Bonus: Fluent proficiency in English.

• Bonus: Reside in or have the ability to relocate to Sao Paulo.
