Embedded Vision Engineer, FPGA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create and implement tailored applications for embedded systems.

• Develop bespoke software solutions for image and video processing tasks.

• Conduct testing, integration, and verification of the developed software within the overall system.

• Design and enhance library components focused on image processing and communication interfaces.

• Integrate and customize Linux on FPGA-based embedded systems using PetaLinux.

• Define, implement, and document software interfaces.

• Engage in low-level programming of FPGA interfaces using C/C++, C#, and Python under a Linux environment.

• Assist in designing innovative embedded vision solutions from the conception phase to commissioning.

• Collaborate with the development team to create solutions for industrial, medical, and security technology.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of five years of professional experience in embedded software development.

• Extensive knowledge of C and C++ programming languages.

• Strong expertise in hardware-related software development.

• Significant experience with Linux-based embedded systems.

• Ideally, familiarity with C#, Python, FPGA-based systems, and PetaLinux.

• Experience in image processing or industrial communication interfaces is a plus.

• An analytical and structured work approach, accompanied by a solid technical understanding.
