Senior Fire Safety Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Executing Fire Risk Assessments

• Conducting Fire Compartmentation & Integrity Surveys

• Carrying out Inspections of Fire Doors

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of recent experience in conducting thorough and comprehensive fire risk assessments

• Familiarity with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005

• Comprehensive understanding of building regulations and their related fire safety requirements, as well as knowledge of pertinent guidance documents

• Knowledge and understanding of compartmentation requirements in construction, including floors, walls, doors, fire-stopping installations, penetration sealing products and techniques, and fire/smoke dampers

• In-depth knowledge of British Standards pertaining to fire safety and installations (such as fire alarms, emergency lighting, fire safety signage, fire extinguishers, and suppression systems)

• Ability to identify hazards and associated risks, provide recommendations for mitigating those risks to acceptable levels, and manage any remaining risks

• Generate detailed reports utilizing SOCOTEC UK Limited templates, within required timelines to meet project KPIs and maintain expected standards

• Assist clients in navigating necessary statutory requirements to ensure compliance while upholding our anticipated service levels.
