Senior Financial Systems Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of production support for Finance systems, ensuring timely ticket resolution and sustainable solutions.

• Manage and troubleshoot NetSuite, Zip, Stripe, Ramp, Navan, and other related finance tools.

• Oversee user provisioning, access requests, and complex incident resolution across systems.

• Become the go-to expert on Serval, configuring and optimizing the AI-driven ticketing system.

• Discover opportunities for Serval to further automate support tasks.

• Design and develop AI agents and internal tools to enhance Finance Transformation workflows.

• Redefine the project intake process to enable stakeholders to submit and monitor requests effortlessly.

• Ensure compliance with financial systems controls, including role-based access, segregation of duties, change management, documentation, and SOX/audit support.

• Assist with month-end close troubleshooting and operational readiness related to systems.

• Collaborate with vendors, IT, and Security to address cross-system or integration challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in financial systems administration and support.

• Extensive hands-on experience in administering NetSuite.

• Capability to manage a shared ticket queue while handling multiple systems and stakeholders.

• Practical experience utilizing AI tools to create effective solutions or automate workflows.

• Strong understanding of financial processes, particularly procure-to-pay (P2P) and record-to-report (R2R).

• Proficient in troubleshooting complex cross-system problems, identifying root causes, and effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Eagerness to learn new systems and explore edge cases.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Availability to work from 9:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. IST, with additional hours aligned to PST during month-end close.

• NetSuite certifications, SuiteScript, and experience with workflow customization are a plus.

• Experience with private companies adhering to public-company standards is a plus.

• Familiarity with finance-system integrations and data flows is a plus.

• Basic ability to read and write SQL queries is a plus.
