Senior Financial Planning Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver cutting-edge financial planning solutions to financial advisors who cater to high-net-worth clients.

• Provide guidance on taxation, business succession planning, estate planning, trust administration, life insurance, and both qualified and non-qualified retirement plans.

• Conduct research, utilize technology, and tackle intricate financial planning challenges.

• Present suitable solutions to financial advisors.

• Review and summarize complicated estate planning and business governance documents.

• Transform complex planning strategies into clear, actionable recommendations for advisors.

• Recognize industry trends and legislative and regulatory developments impacting financial planning.

• Contribute to the organization’s strategic direction.

• Deliver presentations at conferences, webinars, and advisor and team training sessions.

• Mentor colleagues to enhance their financial planning expertise.

• Execute additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• A minimum of 10 years of financial planning experience in a client- or advisor-facing role.

• CFP Designation is required.

• Experience in delivering educational content and presenting to varied audiences.

• Proven ability to influence and collaborate across different levels of the organization.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to manage multiple complex cases concurrently.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Familiarity with financial planning software such as eMoney is preferred.

• CPA designation is preferred.

• FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses are preferred.

• J.D. is preferred.

• LL.M is preferred.
