Senior Financial Controller, German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Deliver financial and strategic evaluations on business transactions, initiatives, projects, emerging technologies, business models, and market trends.

• Facilitate the strategic planning processes for designated business units.

• Execute planning and forecasting tasks.

• Develop forecasting models and long-term scenario analyses for business model innovation.

• Oversee, manage, and execute financial controlling for group-wide financial KPIs.

• Create TSI Executive Management summary reports at the LBU level.

• Examine key financials on a month-to-date, year-to-date, and prior-year basis across actuals, forecasts, and budgets.

• Conduct account controlling, which includes month-end closing, forecasting, and budgeting tasks.

• Handle project controlling, encompassing budgeting and forecasting activities.

• Analyze, compute, and record financial entries, such as accruals, revenues, costs, true-ups, order entries, and order backlogs.

• Manage month-end and year-end closing procedures.

• Coordinate relevant closing processes within the scope of assigned responsibilities globally.

• Act as the primary knowledge and operational authority without direct disciplinary responsibilities.

• Potentially oversee assigned colleagues in an operational capacity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in Economics.

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in the finance sector.

• Proficient in MS Office.

• Advanced knowledge of SAP.

• Intermediate skills in PowerBI.

• Exceptional analytical abilities, ownership, and time management expertise.

• Advanced communication and organizational skills.

• Proficient in result interpretation, reporting, and overall financial processes.

• Advanced capabilities in budgeting, planning, and data analytics.

• Proficiency in German, with a minimum level of B2.

• Proficiency in English, with a minimum level of B2.

• Remote work is available only within Slovakia due to European taxation regulations.
