This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Adhere to safe work practices along with company and client safety policies and procedures at the worksite.

• Advocate for the company's Core Values and maintain a family-oriented culture.

• Assist the Project Manager in overseeing data center construction, various technical construction projects, and operational tasks.

• Aid in managing project expenses, which include budgets, forecasts, commitments, accruals, Work-In-Place, milestones, WBS, progress metrics, risks, and KPIs.

• Utilize and keep historical cost databases like eBuilder updated through inputting budgets, commitments, work in place, invoices, and forecasts.

• Generate weekly, monthly, and ad hoc project status reports that detail costs, schedules, risks, and labor resources.

• Perform accrual analysis and collaborate with payment processing teams to monitor vendor payment statuses.

• Examine invoices for accuracy and conduct trend analysis; keep track of open POs, compute expected cost impacts, and initiate resolution actions.

• Collaborate with the P6 Scheduler and Project Manager to monitor progress, identify warning signs, track the critical path, and ensure cost-schedule alignment.

• Oversee project change control and maintain baseline and current budgets to account for approved modifications.

• Mentor, develop, and guide team members while promoting a Lean culture and the advancement of emerging technologies.

• Encourage continuous improvement and support Lean initiatives throughout the site in line with corporate strategic objectives.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.

• A BA/BS degree in construction management, finance, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction and project planning for multi-project construction programs is required.

• Familiarity with construction specifications, construction drawings, and other project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, payment applications, and change orders.

• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Experience with cost control tools such as eBuilder, Procore, or similar platforms is essential.

• Competence in conveying financial status and schedule details from various construction sites to project managers.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct root cause analysis.

• Knowledge of the structured cabling industry, including technology, quality, and safety standards.

• Capability to assist the Project Manager and Sr. Project Manager in leading, developing, and managing field staff.

• Ability to foster cooperation among upper management, clients, and other departments.

• Exceptional communication and organizational skills, accompanied by outstanding customer service abilities.

• Willingness to learn and support new, rapidly evolving technologies.

• Proficiency in researching information and identifying solutions to technical challenges.

• Capacity to meet deadlines while ensuring high work quality, along with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio; familiarity with Primavera P6 is preferred.

• Willingness to travel as needed, with minimal overnight travel typically expected at around 5%.

• Ability to work in both an indoor office setting and a construction environment.

• Capability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

• Ability to routinely carry and climb ladders up to 20 feet in height.

• Competence in operating scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs if necessary.

• Ability to work in tight and confined spaces.
