This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Adhere to safe work practices along with the safety policies and procedures of the company and client worksite.
• Advocate for the company's Core Values and cultivate a family-oriented culture.
• Assist the Project Manager in overseeing data center construction, technical construction projects, and operational tasks.
• Help with project cost management, which includes budgets, forecasts, commitments, accruals, Work-In-Place, milestones, WBS, progress tracking, risks, and KPIs.
• Maintain historical cost databases like eBuilder through budgets, commitments, Work-In-Place, invoices, and forecasts.
• Generate weekly, monthly, and ad hoc project status reports that encompass cost, schedule, risk, and manpower.
• Perform accrual analysis and work with payment processing teams to monitor vendor payment status.
• Check invoices for accuracy and conduct trend analysis; oversee open purchase orders, assess expected cost impact, and resolve any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the P6 Scheduler and Project Manager to monitor progress, identify potential issues and critical paths, and synchronize cost with schedule.
• Oversee project change control and maintain both baseline and current budgets for authorized changes.
• Mentor, develop, and guide team members while endorsing Lean culture and cutting-edge technologies.
• Foster continuous improvement and back Lean initiatives throughout the site.
• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• A BA/BS in construction management, finance, engineering, or a related field is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in construction and project planning for multi-project construction programs.
• Familiarity with construction specifications, drawings, and documentation such as RFIs, submittals, payment applications, and change orders.
• Proficiency in using Primavera P6, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with cost control tools like eBuilder or Procore.
• Ability to communicate financial status and schedule details from various construction sites to project managers effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and root cause analysis capability.
• Understanding of the structured cabling industry, including technology, quality, and safety standards.
• Capacity to assist the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager in leading, developing, and managing field personnel.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Willingness to learn and support new and rapidly evolving technologies.
• Ability to research and pinpoint solutions to technical issues.
• Capability to work within deadlines while maintaining high-quality work, prioritizing tasks, and multitasking effectively.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Visio; familiarity with Primavera P6 is preferred.
• Willingness to travel as required by E2.
• Ability to regularly lift or move up to 40 pounds and frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds.
• Capacity to carry and climb ladders up to 20 feet.
• Competence in operating scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs as necessary.
