Senior Financial Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily billing support operations and address intricate inquiries related to financial systems.

• Direct the incident triage process to guarantee that technical bugs and issues are promptly assessed, prioritized, and forwarded to engineering teams.

• Conduct thorough root cause analyses on billing discrepancies and perform database corrections when required.

• Craft optimized SQL queries to extract, analyze, validate, and reconcile business data throughout the Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) cycles.

• Spearhead operational initiatives, including the rollout of architectural changes and the implementation of annual billing contracts.

• Develop, document, and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to convert manual processes into scalable, automated solutions.

• Assist with month-end closing activities and monitor essential financial reporting metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Systems Analyst, Operations Analyst, or Business Analyst in the Finance, Accounting, or Billing sectors.

• Comprehensive understanding of the Accounts Receivable (AR) lifecycle, which includes credit memos, adjustments, and synchronization with the general ledger.

• Strong expertise in writing SQL scripts for data extraction and reconciliation tasks.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (including advanced functions, data modeling, and analysis).

• Demonstrated experience in creating detailed SOPs and translating complex business requirements into technical system rules.
