📋 Description

• Create and assess projection models to guide and impact business decisions.

• Address intricate issues, clarify variances and trends, and improve modeling methodologies.

• Construct and enhance models pertinent to Humana's financial accrual process utilizing SQL and Excel.

• Take ownership of a revenue projection model and scrutinize its outcomes.

• Convert complex financial and operational factors into straightforward, actionable insights.

• Assist Humana's Risk Adjustment sector within Medicare.

• Generate revenue and risk score projections for bids, budgets, forecasts, and strategic planning.

• Assess the financial repercussions of CMS regulatory alterations and updates to the Medicare Advantage payment model.

• Oversee and communicate risk adjustment data submissions.

• Aid in risk adjustment operations and initiatives that bolster compliance, revenue precision, and business performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.

• At least 3 years of technical experience in financial modeling utilizing SQL and Excel.

• Proficiency with Excel pivot tables and analytical trends.

• Experience in writing SQL processes.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain analytical models.

• Capability to elucidate variances and trends and enhance modeling techniques.

• Experience handling moderately complex to complex issues requiring thorough evaluation of variable factors.

• Enthusiasm for contributing to an organization dedicated to continuously improving consumer experiences.

• Proven track record of collaboration with others.

• Preferred: Master's Degree.

• Preferred: Background in finance or actuarial science.

• Preferred: Experience with Databricks.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Medicare Advantage, particularly in risk adjustment or Stars.
