Senior Financial Analyst – Strategic Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Act as a subject matter expert for the Finance team's data and analytics projects.

• Enhance and maintain current Alteryx workflows and PowerBI reports across various Finance team sectors.

• Develop financial and operational KPIs, such as bookings, pipeline, win rates, and average selling price.

• Spot opportunities to enhance business outcomes.

• Support the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasts for the Services / Consulting division.

• Evaluate monthly financial performance against budgets and adjust annual and quarterly forecasts accordingly.

• Build financial models for ongoing forecasting, annual budgeting, and pro-forma scenario analysis.

• Aid in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting presentations for the Executive team and Board of Directors meetings.

• Contribute to M&A initiatives, including the post-acquisition integration of financial data and systems.

• Conduct ad-hoc analyses on urgent business challenges and opportunities.

• Provide ad-hoc insights for senior financial leaders, the broader executive team, and the financial sponsor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.

• 2–4 years of experience in public accounting, ideally with a Big 4 firm, or 3–5 years in a financial analyst or related role.

• Proficiency in Alteryx and PowerBI is mandatory.

• Strong advanced Excel skills, including modeling expertise, are required.

• Intermediate skills in PowerPoint are necessary.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with shifting responsibilities.

• Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce is advantageous, though not essential.
