
Senior Financial Analyst, GTM OPEX

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, construct, and sustain advanced models for GTM operating expenses, encompassing sales and marketing expenditures, headcount, compensation, commissions, revenue sharing, as well as programs and tools across all go-to-market channels (Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, Operations, Onboarding).
• Take ownership of variance analysis by identifying the root causes of discrepancies between budgeted and actual figures, translating these findings into actionable insights for leadership.
• Act as a strategic finance business partner to GTM leaders and their teams, managing their budgets and headcount plans, enhancing spending accountability, and offering ad hoc analysis and budgetary assistance. Provide actionable insights to guide crucial decisions and align capital allocation with initiatives that yield the highest ROI.
• Deliver data-driven insights and financial analysis to enhance sales and marketing efficiency, including metrics such as CAC, payback period, while enabling leadership to anticipate future trends.
• Transition from manual spreadsheets by automating our core systems (Pigment, NetSuite, Snowflake, etc.) to establish a single source of truth.
• Distill complex financial data into clear and persuasive narratives on GTM spending and efficiency for Board of Directors presentations, investor materials, and monthly business reviews.
• Establish and track GTM efficiency and spending KPIs to evaluate performance against budgets and key financial objectives.
• Collaborate with GTM and People teams on headcount and sales capacity planning, quota-carrying representative ramp-up, hiring timelines, and the comprehensive costs associated with GTM growth.
• A minimum of 3 years of progressive FP&A experience, preferably within a high-growth SaaS or FinTech setting.
• Proficient in Excel - capable of creating robust financial models.
• Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
• High level of comfort with ambiguity; adept at managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, Churn, LTV/CAC, NRR) and their impact on the P&L.
• Outstanding communication skills - capable of collaborating across various functions and levels within the organization, as well as with external partners.
• Ability to extract insights from large datasets - SQL experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with NetSuite and Pigment is a plus.
