This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Oversee the maintenance, updates, and enhancements of the long-term financial model, encompassing operating assumptions, financial statements, cash flow, and scenario analyses.
• Direct the annual operating plan process throughout the organization.
• Assist in leading the monthly forecasting process alongside FP&A teams, Accounting, and business leaders.
• Compile monthly and quarterly variance analyses.
• Evaluate financial performance, business drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Provide support for materials intended for the Board of Directors, investors, and executive leadership.
• Develop financial analyses and presentations to facilitate strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Accounting, Finance Systems, and cross-functional teams.
• Create dashboards, reporting tools, and ongoing analyses.
• Automate manual processes to enhance forecasting precision and workflow scalability.
• Contribute to strategic projects and perform ad hoc analyses.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, investment banking, management consulting, public accounting, or a similar analytical position.
• Proficient financial modeling abilities, including long-range planning, forecasting, and integrated financial statements.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Proven experience in handling large, complex datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Capability to convey complex financial information clearly and succinctly to executive audiences.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent collaboration skills and capability to cultivate effective cross-functional relationships.
• Experience with Anaplan or another enterprise planning platform is preferred.
• Familiarity with SQL, Alteryx, business intelligence tools, or data visualization applications is preferred.
• Experience in preparing materials for executive leadership, Boards of Directors, or investors is preferred.
• Background in software, technology, or a recurring-revenue business is preferred.
• Understanding of SaaS financial and operating metrics is preferred.
• MBA, CPA, CFA, or another relevant advanced degree or professional designation is preferred.
• Ability to comply with U.S. export controls.
• Target annual bonus of 15% of base salary, contingent on individual and company performance.
