Senior Financial Analyst, Cash Flow

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Construct, manage, and consistently enhance **cash flow, P&L, and budgeting models** to facilitate forecasting, planning, and multi-scenario analysis.

• Lead the **budgeting and reforecasting processes**, integrating actual performance, business drivers, and revised assumptions.

• Oversee **monthly P&L performance tracking**, including comprehensive **variance analysis** against budget and forecast.

• Create and sustain **short- and long-term cash flow forecasts**, identifying risks, limitations, and opportunities for optimization.

• Prepare and present **clear, actionable financial reports** for leadership, converting data into insights and suggestions.

• Assist in strategic and operational decision-making through **ad hoc financial analyses**, including sensitivity analysis and what-if scenarios.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure financial models accurately reflect operational and commercial drivers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven expertise in **financial analysis with a strong emphasis on cash flow modeling, P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting**.

• Demonstrated experience supporting e-commerce or direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands.

• Established track record in **building and maintaining complex financial models** for business planning and scenario assessments.

• Strong background in preparing **recurring financial reports** and conducting **variance analysis** relative to budget and forecast.

• Experience in providing **ad hoc financial insights** to aid management and strategic decision-making.

• Previous experience in a **mid- to senior-level analytical role** with responsibility for financial outputs.

• Experience in **e-commerce**, preferably within the **beauty or consumer goods sector**, is highly desirable.
