This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the complete billing relationship for a diverse portfolio of around 500 accounts.
• Make autonomous decisions related to credits and debits, notifications, and communication regarding client receivables.
• Assist both external and internal customers concerning billing for premiums and claims/claims funding.
• Review daily Automated Clearing House (ACH) tap files prior to submission to Treasury and the bank.
• Perform audits to ensure adherence to financial controls.
• Develop, improve, and manage system applications for processing and reporting financial data as required.
• Relay billing information to clients, Third-Party Administrators (TPAs), brokers, and internal stakeholders.
• Apply problem-solving abilities and financial acumen to determine the underlying causes of client issues, such as incorrect rates, eligibility mistakes, and commission discrepancies.
• Recognize opportunities for process enhancements to boost client satisfaction and mitigate financial risk.
• Facilitate the successful financial onboarding of new and renewing clients.
• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant billing experience is required.
• Experience in customer/client service is essential.
• Reconciliation experience is necessary.
• Proficiency in data analysis is required.
• Previous experience in billing or collections is highly preferred.
• Exceptional systems experience, particularly in using Excel for reporting, is essential.
• Basic understanding of insurance products, procedures, and systems is desirable.
• Prior experience collaborating with matrix partners is preferred.
• Extensive experience with SAP and Facets is strongly preferred.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and v-lookups, are required.
• If working remotely, a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with a minimum of 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload speed is required.
