This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the financial partner for designated business leaders and actively engage in operating reviews.
• Offer financial insights that guide business decision-making.
• Develop and uphold financial models, annual budgets, and continuous forecasts.
• Utilize artificial intelligence and automation to generate recurring financial reports and detect emerging trends.
• Analyze variances against budget, forecast, and prior-year results to uncover key business drivers.
• Propose corrective measures and growth opportunities based on performance and variance analysis.
• Interpret key performance indicators (KPIs) and subscription-based metrics, such as annual recurring revenue, net revenue retention, churn rate, and gross margin.
• Provide ad hoc analyses and scenario modeling in response to pressing business inquiries.
• Prepare and deliver financial reports for business leaders and executive management.
• Transform analysis into actionable recommendations.
• A bachelor's degree (or its international equivalent) is mandatory.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience is required.
• Experience in a SaaS or technology company is essential.
• Demonstrated experience assessing spending from a driver and return-on-investment perspective across areas such as IT financial management (ITFM), technology business management (TBM), FinOps, marketing measurement, LTV:CAC analysis, workforce modeling, or unit economics is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications is necessary.
• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning or similar enterprise planning and ERP systems is required.
• Advanced understanding of financial planning and analysis principles, including generally accepted accounting principles.
• Highly developed analytical and data modeling capabilities, including the use of artificial intelligence tools to enhance financial modeling, forecasting, and root cause analysis.
• Competence in validating AI-generated outputs prior to presentation to business or executive audiences.
• Willingness to travel less than 5% of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must successfully complete the pre-employment screening process as required.
• Must complete any necessary training or orientation courses as needed.
• A master's degree, 9+ years of relevant experience, B2B SaaS experience, proficiency with Claude AI workflows, Domo or similar BI platforms, AI agents, and SQL are preferred or strongly preferred.
