Senior Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take charge of assembling the monthly close package by consolidating inputs from various finance partners.

• Create the accompanying presentation for leadership review.

• Load and verify financial data in SmartView (Oracle Hyperion) during each close cycle.

• Utilize AI tools to enhance recurring reporting processes, identify errors, and improve close deliverables.

• Recognize and implement process enhancements to minimize manual tasks in closing and reporting.

• Communicate the status of the close, data-related issues, and timelines to finance stakeholders.

• Proactively identify risks and support additional reporting, analysis, and process improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.

• 3-5+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles that involve reporting, reconciliation, or close support.

• Practical experience with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar for analysis, drafting, reconciliation, or process automation.

• Proficient in Excel and familiar with financial systems.

• Experience with SmartView, Hyperion, or comparable consolidation tools is highly advantageous.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and reliable work under monthly deadlines.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to work independently, proactively identify issues, and take ownership of recurring deliverables.

• Demonstrated experience collaborating with US-based business teams.

• Capability to work 8 hours excluding breaks, with a mandatory overlap of 4 core US hours from 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM IST and 4 flexible hours in IST.

• A quiet workspace and a reliable internet connection with a minimum of 30 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.
