Senior Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist senior leadership in making data-driven decisions and providing strategic insights by overseeing departmental expenditures in technology, marketing, and operational expenses.

• Develop, manage, and enhance financial models across all financial statements.

• Aid in quarterly forecasting updates and external financial reporting to stakeholders.

• Collaborate with the People team to synchronize hiring strategies and headcount spending with financial forecasts.

• Independently oversee monthly and quarterly commission calculations and coordinate with various teams on key performance indicators.

• Evaluate vendor expenditures and facilitate contract renewals to enhance spending visibility and resource efficiency.

• Assist with accounts receivable reconciliation, claims analysis, and issue resolution to optimize cash flow forecasting, collection rates, and revenue accuracy.

• Take responsibility for managing partnership payments for the Partnerships team.

• Examine forecast variances and financial trends to uncover root causes and present risks and opportunities to leadership.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate finance, accounting, or consulting.

• Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial modeling.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related discipline.

• Advanced skills in financial modeling.

• Familiarity with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or comparable ERP systems.

• Capacity to convert essential business inquiries into actionable models and insights.

• Ability to operate independently in uncertain environments.

• Strong sense of ownership and results-oriented mindset.

• Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Comfort in dynamic early-stage startup settings with competing priorities.

• Commitment to supporting individuals with complex chronic needs, including homelessness, severe mental illness, and substance use disorders.

• Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check.
