Senior Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the monthly reporting cycle from start to finish, encompassing actuals load, budget vs. actuals analysis, variance commentary, and management reporting.

• Oversee and operate the 3-statement financial model and driver-based forecasting, including reforecasting mechanics and scenario updates.

• Manage headcount and software/vendor expense forecasting while tracking actuals against the approved budget.

• Maintain the company-level KPI and metrics framework, including ARR, NRR, gross margin, CAC payback, and the Rule of 40.

• Ensure the integrity, integrations, and report generation of the Pigment model.

• Develop and sustain department-level budget tracking reports and assist department leaders with budget, headcount, and software expenditure coverage.

• Collaborate with GTM leadership on sales team planning and KPI monitoring.

• Propel the automation of the monthly close and forecast cycle processes through AI and tooling enhancements.

• Document processes to ensure they are repeatable and auditable.

• Create internal tools to enhance financial reporting and budget workflows, minimizing reliance on spreadsheets.


⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, or private equity, with hands-on exposure to the recurring corporate finance cycle.

• Proven experience in building and maintaining 3-statement financial models featuring scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.

• Strong grasp of US GAAP and fundamental accounting principles.

• Advanced skills in Google Sheets or Excel, with comfort in handling large datasets and formula-intensive models.

• Profound understanding of SaaS metrics and their drivers, including ARR, NRR, CAC payback, gross margin, and the Rule of 40.

• Experience in a SaaS or usage-based business environment.

• Ability to independently manage deliverables and produce precise, leadership-ready outputs without the need for rework.

• Capacity to enhance workflows and automate manual processes.

• Self-driven with the ability to handle competing priorities and deadlines without close supervision.

• Curiosity and a proactive approach to independently navigate ambiguous or poorly documented areas.

• Familiarity with SQL is a plus, but not mandatory.
