Senior Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Gather, analyze, and recognize trends in data

• Create standardized and ad hoc data reports for quality assessment, performance enhancement initiatives, and operational reporting

• Review historical and forecasted financial data to inform financial decisions

• Conduct financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting

• Clearly and concisely present financial information and models

• Manage financial relationships with vendors when necessary

• Execute financial reclassifications and adjustments due to approved contract modifications

• Address inquiries regarding Workday cost centers

• Oversee and manage directly paid expenses to optimize invoicing processes

• Evaluate monthly invoices

• Confirm savings achieved by approved gain share eligible initiatives

• Support data imports and exports

• Conduct periodic audits of data sources

• Collaborate with teams and engage in assigned projects as a financial support resource

• Review and scrutinize financial statements and reports

• Monitor KPIs and prepare financial reports

• Assist with budgeting and monthly closing processes

• Comprehend key business drivers

• Provide clients with financial guidance

• Develop financial forecasts and construct financial models

• Carry out research and analysis as needed

• Ensure adherence to financial guidelines, company policies, and regulatory requirements

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; or a combination of post-secondary education and relevant experience (required)

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial planning and analysis or accounting (required)

• Experience managing both capital and operating expenses (preferred)

• Background in healthcare (preferred)

• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Ability to work effectively within both organizational and partner technology, processes, and systems

• Experience with financial reporting

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Skills in planning and organization

• Effective prioritization abilities

• Expertise in financial analysis
