Senior Accountant, Financial Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with prestigious companies across various sectors approximately every six months.

• Assist finance departments with their daily operations as well as special projects.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the duration of projects.

• Independently oversee projects from inception to completion.

• Secure appropriate projects by confidently showcasing your expertise and experience during interviews.

• Transition smoothly from one project to another while fostering both personal and professional growth.

• Introduce process enhancements to optimize clients’ financial accounting systems, making them more efficient and digital.

• Travel to client locations for professional onboarding, depending on the project, for up to five days each month.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of four years of professional experience in financial accounting.

• Completion of vocational training or possession of a degree in tax, accounting, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB).

• Familiarity with IFRS is considered a plus.

• Proficiency in SAP FI, Microsoft Dynamics, DATEV, and/or Oracle.

• Fluent in German.

• Excellent command of English; communication is conducted exclusively in English for internationally focused projects.

• Willingness to travel for business across Germany, particularly for professional project onboarding, with a maximum of five days per month.

• Ability to quickly adapt to new tasks and projects.
