Finance Manager I – Field

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver accounting and financial support for designated areas.

• Execute period-end reviews and generate journal-entry documentation for accruals and reclassifications.

• Work in collaboration with field management on RM trackers, inventory exemptions, rebate accruals, and financial transactions.

• Organize, uphold, and substantiate SOX internal controls.

• Review and reconcile balance-sheet accounts alongside the Controllers Group.

• Examine cost structures and assist in cost-saving initiatives.

• Conduct variance analyses compared to business plans and forecasts.

• Aid in preparing period-end narratives, gap-plan monitoring, incentive programs, union labor negotiation modeling, and annual wage increase assistance.

• Convey financial results to field and regional leaders.

• Lead and participate in cross-functional strategic initiatives and process enhancements.

• Assist with the implementation of new tools, technologies, and best practices.

• Collaborate with Finance Manager II, Senior Financial Analysts, and other team members.

• May provide mentorship to Senior Financial Analysts - Field.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis.

• High level of proficiency in Excel.

• Strong expertise in financial planning platforms (e.g., Anaplan).

• Background in accounting, budgeting, and variance analysis.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.

• Capability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
