This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Deliver financial or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) data, metrics, and both standard and ad hoc reporting.
• Prepare, analyze, and convey essential financial information.
• Provide assistance to management and staff on financial reporting and related matters.
• Aid in the preparation of budgets, compliance reviews, and financial planning processes.
• Extract and manipulate complex data using database tools such as SAS and Teradata.
• Collaborate with management at all levels to offer decision support for various initiatives, policies, and procedures.
• Undertake special projects related to research, forecasting, and conflict resolution.
• Execute additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, accompanied by four years of experience in financial, revenue cycle management, or general analytics; alternatively, a Master's degree with three years of experience; or Cleveland Clinic Finance Fellow experience with three years of experience.
• Capability to conduct complex analytical, consultative, and informational support through analysis and report preparation.
• Proven ability to lead projects and manage people.
• Strong grasp of key performance indicators, cash flow analysis, product line analysis, and proposal development.
• Preferred: Master’s degree.
• Preferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Experience in revenue and finance.
• Familiarity with hospital systems and exposure to revenue cycles.
• Technical proficiency in Oracle, Excel, Microsoft Office, Snowflake, and EPIC.
• Experience in Revenue Cycle Management.
• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information effectively.
• Capability to perform work while in a stationary position for extended durations.
• Ability to handle physical records or operate a computer and other office equipment.
• In certain locations, willingness to travel throughout the hospital system.
• In certain locations, ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must adhere to the annual influenza prevention program by obtaining a vaccination or an approved exemption.
