This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with diverse teams to forecast expenses and headcount.

• Lead the analysis of budget variances, providing clear written explanations for discrepancies from the plan and previous forecasts.

• Develop executive-level charts and slides for monthly, quarterly, and annual presentations for executives and the board.

• Discover and implement additional methods to utilize NSPB, the financial planning and budgeting tool.

• Leverage AI to enhance efficiency.

• Partner in the annual budgeting process alongside Finance Business Partners, business leads, and accounting teams.

• Collaborate on monthly Executive Committee meetings and quarterly Board Decks.

• Deliver ad-hoc reporting and analysis that supports financial and business objectives.

• Work closely with the FP&A team to facilitate the annual budget process and monthly variance analysis.

• Collaborate with budget owners, accounting, and finance teams to ensure precise reporting, forecasting, and variance explanations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Over 5 years of experience in Finance.

• Proficient in advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, complex spreadsheets, Pivot Tables, and lookup functions.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large datasets into actionable insights.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Demonstrated resourcefulness, creativity, flexibility, self-motivation, and organizational skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Previous experience with NetSuite Budget and Planning system or similar FP&A software is preferred.

• CPA license is preferred.

• Ability to sit for extended periods and engage in extensive computer and keyboard use; occasional walking and lifting may be necessary.
