This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Act as a strategic finance partner to the APJ Sales leadership, offering assistance in forecasting, budgeting, and performance management.
• Create the APJ annual operating plan, which includes headcount strategies, sales compensation, and commission structures that align with the company’s strategic objectives and investment priorities.
• Oversee and manage the financial performance of APJ Sales, encompassing monthly variance analysis, headcount assessments, and tracking of operating expenses.
• Provide precise P&L forecasts and insights to support informed decision-making, playing a key role in the APJ Quarterly Business Review.
• Ensure accuracy and promote improvements in financial reporting capabilities, including KPI tracking, ACV trend analysis, and top-line performance metrics.
• Support global sales operations and aid in deal desk tasks, such as quote approvals and promo request evaluations.
• Serve as the main point of contact between the theatre team and other finance or business operation functions to address challenges and foster APJ sales growth.
• Cultivate robust partnerships with Sales and Renewal Sales leaders to guarantee common objectives, consistent KPIs, and shared accountability for regional sales outcomes.
• Design and maintain financial models that support pricing strategies, go-to-market planning, and other critical business decisions.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and enhance the strategic value of the finance function to the business.
• Lead or assist in global sales finance projects aimed at enhancing planning, forecasting, and operational effectiveness across regions.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in Sales Finance and GTM Finance roles.
• FP&A experience collaborating with go-to-market teams—including Field Sales, Channel Sales, and Customer Success—to enhance revenue forecasting, performance analysis, and strategic planning.
• Proven success in FP&A and Sales Finance roles within high-growth or technology-centric organizations.
• In-depth knowledge of essential sales processes, commissions, metrics, and tools utilized to support sales activities across direct and channel teams.
• Strong history of cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration, effectively working with theatre Sales Finance teams, Worldwide Sales Finance, and Corporate FP&A to ensure alignment and consistency in planning and reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use AI and automation to facilitate efficient analysis and improve decision-making.
• Proactive communicator with a highly collaborative approach, adept at uniting diverse perspectives to tackle complex business challenges.
• Comfortable functioning in ambiguous, fast-paced settings, with the capability to translate financial insights into strategic direction and influence enterprise-level decision-making.
