Senior Financial Aid Consultant – Director/Executive Director/AVP Level

📋 Description

• Act as a strategic consultant to institutional leaders regarding financial aid operations, compliance, enrollment strategies, and initiatives focused on student success.

• Provide leadership and supervision for financial aid operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and achieving operational excellence.

• Evaluate organizational capacity, workforce requirements, and operational efficiency to create tailored solutions.

• Spearhead process enhancement initiatives that improve efficiency, service quality, and the overall student experience.

• Assist institutions during audits, compliance assessments, technology integrations, and operational transitions.

• Aid in achieving institutional enrollment and retention objectives through strategic planning and collaborative efforts across functions.

• Cultivate and mentor staff through coaching, leadership development, and succession planning.

• Track performance metrics and key indicators to pinpoint opportunities for ongoing improvement.

• Function as a subject matter expert on Title IV regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in financial aid.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in financial aid, with in-depth knowledge of Title IV administration and regulatory compliance.

• Experience at the director level or higher, responsible for team management, operations, and institutional initiatives.

• Proven track record in leading operational enhancements, organizational changes, and strategic initiatives.

• Experience in constructing and developing high-performing teams.

• Strong comprehension of compliance, risk management, and preparation for audits.

• Proficient in utilizing technology, automation, and data analytics to enhance performance and service delivery.

• Outstanding communication, presentation, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring a focus on quality, compliance, and institutional outcomes.
