Senior Financial Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP or IFRS.

• Oversee the year-end closing process and liaise with external auditors.

• Enhance and uphold internal financial controls.

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and address discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Assist the CFO with various financial analyses and reporting tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• ACCA, CIMA, or CA(SA) certification.

• Over 5 years of experience in financial accounting, preferably in a UK-focused position.

• In-depth understanding of UK GAAP or IFRS reporting standards.

• Proficiency in advanced Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, NetSuite, or Sage.

• Access to reliable fibre internet and a dedicated professional workspace at home.
