Senior Finance Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and manage Sage Intacct along with related financial systems.

• Set up modules, workflows, reports, user access, and role permissions.

• Lead and facilitate integrations with Salesforce, payroll, procurement, banking, reporting, and other enterprise systems.

• Oversee data flows within finance systems, validate outputs, assist with reconciliations, and ensure data integrity.

• Propel initiatives for finance systems optimization and automation.

• Enhance workflows, testing, reporting, and process efficiency while minimizing reliance on manual spreadsheets and journal-entry alternatives.

• Oversee ERP user roles, access governance, system controls, segregation of duties, and prepare audit-ready documentation.

• Collaborate with vendors, implementation partners, IT, and finance stakeholders regarding system modifications and troubleshooting.

• Provide system support and training for finance users.

• Implement new systems and deliver reporting and processing tools.

• Create and maintain standard operating procedures, policies, checklists, user manuals, and system documentation.

• Assist in the development of business intelligence, dashboards, and reporting.

• Establish data controls, reporting governance, audit readiness, and compliance support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, information systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• 5-7 years of experience in supporting finance systems, ERP platforms, financial technology environments, system integrations, or finance transformation projects.

• Strong functional understanding of ERP systems, particularly Sage Intacct.

• Proven experience in supporting configuration, workflows, user access, reporting, testing, and system enhancement.

• Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, financial close, reporting, controls, and data integrity.

• Experience collaborating with external implementation partners, consultants, technology vendors, IT teams, and finance users.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to translate operational finance requirements into system functionality.

• Proficient in managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Ability to work independently while being an effective team member.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic team setting.

• Strong alignment with the mission and values of WES.

• Preferred: Sage Intacct administration or certification.

• Desired: Experience in a nonprofit, social enterprise, or mission-driven organization.

• Familiarity with Sage Intacct, Vena, Salesforce, or UKG is a plus.
