Senior Finance Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and manage Sage Intacct along with associated finance systems.

• Set up modules, workflows, reports, user access, and permissions for roles.

• Lead and facilitate integrations across finance and enterprise systems, including Salesforce, payroll, procurement, banking, and reporting tools.

• Oversee finance system data flows and verify system outputs.

• Assist with reconciliations and ensure accurate information for accounting, treasury, investments, and financial reporting.

• Propel initiatives for finance systems optimization and automation.

• Enhance workflows, testing, reporting, process efficiency, and minimize reliance on manual spreadsheets or journal-entry alternatives.

• Administer ERP user roles, permissions, access governance, system controls, segregation of duties, and maintain audit-ready documentation.

• Collaborate with vendors, implementation partners, IT, and finance stakeholders on system modifications, issue resolution, integrations, testing, and user adoption.

• Offer system support and training to finance users.

• Troubleshoot and assist users with system functionalities.

• Implement new systems and provide reporting and process tools.

• Create and maintain SOPs, policies, checklists, user guides, and system documentation.

• Assist in BI, dashboard, and reporting development.

• Establish and maintain data controls, monitor data quality, ensure reporting governance, audit readiness, and compliance support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• 5-7 years of experience supporting finance systems, ERP platforms, finance technology environments, system integrations, or finance transformation projects.

• Strong functional knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Sage Intacct.

• Experience in supporting configuration, workflows, user access, reporting, testing, and system optimization.

• Understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, financial close, reporting, controls, and data integrity.

• Experience collaborating with external implementation partners, consultants, technology vendors, IT teams, and finance users.

• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to translate finance operational needs into system functionality.

• Proficient in managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.

• Ability to work independently while being a team contributor.

• Experience thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic team setting.

• Strong alignment with WES mission and values.

• Administration or certification in Sage Intacct is preferred.

• Experience in a nonprofit, social enterprise, or mission-driven organization is desirable.

• Familiarity with Sage Intacct, Vena, Salesforce, or UKG is preferred.
