Senior Finance & Strategy Analyst, Consumer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of comprehensive forecasting, budgeting, and monthly financial deliverables for Consumer OpEx, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery throughout all planning cycles.

• Develop and sustain driver-based financial models that assess risks, opportunities, and scenario outcomes for Consumer leadership.

• Conduct monthly variance analysis and oversee month-end closure for your designated areas, collaborating with Accounting to uphold data integrity across all financial reports.

• Collaborate with Consumer Product, Engineering, Design, and cross-functional leaders to convert financial insights into practical resource allocation recommendations.

• Spearhead the preparation and presentation of financial analyses during business reviews, transforming complex data into clear strategic recommendations.

• Perform proactive deep-dive analyses to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for efficiency within Consumer operational expenditures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or corporate finance, with direct responsibility for OpEx planning (headcount, marketing expenditure, product operations, or similar categories).

• Proven experience managing large operating expense budgets, delivering forecasts, and generating variance analyses that influenced executive decisions.

• Demonstrated ability to construct driver-based financial models and conduct scenario analyses in Excel, with proficiency in SQL for data analysis and familiarity with at least one planning tool (e.g., Anaplan, NetSuite).

• A history of cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, or Design teams to align financial plans with business priorities and impact resource allocation.

• Experience in a high-growth tech, fintech, or financial services environment, with the ability to navigate multiple concurrent workstreams comfortably.

• Responsible utilization of generative AI, ensuring human oversight to produce business-ready outputs and achieve measurable enhancements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
