Senior Finance Manager – Befristet auf 1 Jahr

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Responsible for corporate controlling.

• Prepare annual planning, forecasts, budgets, and regular reports for management and executive management.

• Analyze financial metrics and monitor liquidity, cost structures, and profitability.

• Derive well-founded recommendations for action based on financial analyses.

• Coordinate financial processes from invoice management through the verification of incoming invoices to monthly and annual financial statements.

• Collaborate with accounting and tax consulting.

• Oversee the invoice management tool Candis.

• Continuously develop finance systems and processes.

• Identify optimization potential and drive the digitization and scalability of financial processes.

• Be the central point of contact for finance-related questions within the company.

• Work closely with executive management, the HR team, and other departments.

• Coordinate collaboration with tax consulting, banks, and other external partners.

• Independently manage, prioritize, and implement topics qualitatively and on time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed degree in finance, controlling, or a comparable field of study.

• At least 5 years of professional experience in finance, controlling, or financial planning & analysis.

• Experience in corporate controlling and in creating forecasts and reports.

• Familiarity with digital finance tools, such as Candis or similar solutions.

• Proficient in Excel.

• Experience with DATEV Unternehmen Online.

• Familiarity with digital collaboration tools, such as Google Workspace, Slack, and Asana.

• Experience with Shopify is an advantage.

• Excellent numerical understanding along with an analytical and structured working style.

• Experience in optimizing and digitizing finance processes.

• Independent, reliable, and solution-oriented working style.

• Strong communication skills and enjoyment in collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.

• Very good German language skills (at least C1).

• Willingness to work full-time with 40 hours per week over 5 days; at least 35 hours per week is possible.
