Senior Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Direct and oversee all accounting and finance functions within a multi-entity framework.

• Guide, mentor, and cultivate the skills of accounting and finance team members.

• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring timely and precise financial reporting.

• Spearhead the annual budgeting process and continuous forecasting efforts.

• Deliver financial insights and recommendations to Senior Leadership.

• Oversee the project control operations, including revenue recognition and monitoring project financial performance.

• Formulate, establish, and uphold accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices within the finance division.

• Design, supervise, and revise provisional and final indirect rate structures in compliance with FAR Part 31 and relevant CAS.

• Act as the main liaison for external auditors, tax consultants, government auditors, and regulatory bodies.

• Manage the coordination of annual financial statement audits, tax compliance activities, and regulatory assessments.

• Maintain strategic relationships with banking and financial institution partners.

• Oversee financing operations, cash management, and reporting requirements for lenders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including managerial roles.

• Proven experience in government contracting.

• In-depth knowledge of FAR, CAS, GAAP, and standards related to government contract accounting.

• Experience in managing audits, tax compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

• CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.

• Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint is essential.

• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
