Senior Finance Business Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Gain a thorough understanding of client objectives, goals, and business requirements through financial analysis, data interpretation, and effective communication.

• Create pro forma financial models, investment analyses, and business cases for prospective business ventures.

• Collaborate with executives and cross-functional teams to deliver financial solutions.

• Identify and convey financial risks, opportunities, trends, and performance indicators.

• Develop and present financial scenarios along with strategic recommendations.

• Articulate financial terms, deal structures, modeling assumptions, drivers, and variance explanations to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

• Integrate feedback, address concerns, and promote alignment on recommendations and deal structures.

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and ongoing financial performance assessment.

• Provide ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, modeling, and strategic assistance.

• Formulate operational strategies that enhance financial performance and optimize business opportunities.

• Present financial analyses and suggestions to leadership, clients, and stakeholder groups.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, economics, or a related discipline.

• Proven experience with FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and financial analysis.

• Competence in building and conveying sophisticated financial models.

• Ability to convert complex financial concepts into actionable insights.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with financial planning, reporting, and business intelligence platforms such as Microsoft Power BI, Anaplan, Hyperion Enterprise, or similar systems is advantageous.

• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail and precision.

• Capability to thrive in ambiguous and fast-paced settings while managing multiple priorities.

• Experience in presenting to groups, facilitating discussions, and leading training or knowledge-sharing sessions.

• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrated ability to cultivate collaborative relationships and engage with stakeholders across all organizational levels.

• Strong business acumen with the ability to link financial analysis to overarching business strategy.

• MBA is preferred.
